Arab Finance: Executive Director of the US Commercial Service Rachel Billingslea has invited the Egyptian General Authority for Investments and Free Zones (GAFI) to take part in the Select USA Investment Summit in Washington, D.C., according to a statement.

The event is the most prominent event dedicated to encouraging foreign direct investment (FDI) in the US.

It brings together senior government officials, senior business executives, the private sector, and other leaders of economic thought to discuss developments in industry and investment trends.

This came during a meeting headed by Yasser Abbas, Deputy CEO of GAFI, with a delegation from the US Commercial Service.

The meeting served as a platform to discuss bilateral relations and mutual strategic interests.
