Arab Finance: The General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) is discussing investment opportunities in the Egyptian tourism sector with Turkish firms operating in the tourism and hotel investment fields, as per a statement.

This came as GAFI held a series of meetings on the sidelines of the Africa Tourism Forum held in Sharm El-Sheikh.

representatives from GAFI met with representatives of Tripholi Company to discuss the company’s investment plans in the luxurious hotel sector in Sharm El-Sheikh and New Alamein city, along with its plan to develop business hotels in Cairo.

Moreover, GAFI held a meeting with representatives of Kilit Grup to probe optimizing hotel equipment in the Egyptian market.

This is in addition to a meeting with Toura Company to mull the possibility of providing the Egyptian hotels with the latest designs and equipment.
