Arab Finance: The General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) has hosted the Egyptian-British Business Forum to mull over the possibility of attracting new British investments in eco-friendly infrastructure projects, as per a statement on June 25^th.

The forum brought together several Egyptian and British officials, along with representatives of 30 British firms and major Egyptian companies in the infrastructure sector.

For his part, GAFI’s CEO Hossam Heiba noted that the forum would contribute to increasing the British investment flows into Egypt, which surpassed $2 billion in fiscal year 2022/2023.

The forum also plays a crucial part in aligning the British investment objectives with Egypt’s development priorities, he added.
