Egypt to boost mazut supplies to power plants by 11% in July

Arab Finance: The government is set to increase mazut supplies to power plants by 11% in July to 30,000 tons to reduce power outages, a government official told Asharq Business.

This increase will be facilitated by importing additional mazut shipments, in addition to 110 million cubic meters of natural gas daily, the official said.

On June 25th, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly revealed that the government allocated $1 billion to end its power outage crisis.
