Labor Minister announces June 30th as holiday for private sector

Arab Finance: The Egyptian Minister of Labor Hassan Shehata has declared Sunday, June 30th, a paid holiday for the private sector employees on the occasion of the anniversary of the June 30th Revolution, as per a statement.

If the working conditions necessitate working on this day, employees are entitled to a double-time wage to their regular one.

On June 24th, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly announced the same holiday for the public sector employees.
