Arab Finance: The Egyptian Exchange’s (EGX) listing committee has approved listing an increase of EGP 49 million for Lotus for Agricultural Investments and Development’s issued and paid-up capital, according to a disclosure on July 21st.
Accordingly, the capital will be raised from EGP 56 million to EGP 105 million after the issuance of 490 million shares, equivalent to 0.875-for-1 bonus shares, at a nominal value of EGP 0.10 per share.
Hence, the company will distribute the 0.875-for-1 bonus shares, with eligibility to shareholders until a record date of July 21st.
The company's capital after the increase will be listed on the EGX's database on July 22nd.
