ITIDA, DXC Technology ink MoU to foster Egypt’s software industry

Arab Finance: The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with DXC Technology Egypt to boost cooperation in the software industry, according to a press release.

This partnership aims to leverage ITIDA's Software Engineering Competence Center’s (SECC) high-quality training, consultancy services, assessment and appraisal services, along with industry-leading certifications and international accreditation.

Moreover, the MoU aims to enhance the quality and efficiency of operations at global and local delivery centers by providing staff members with cutting-edge skills and internationally accredited certifications.

The MoU is part of ITIDA’s strategy to promote the competitiveness and exports of Egypt’s software.

“Our collaboration with DXC Technology aims to create a comprehensive support system for software companies, offering a full suite of services including training, accreditation, and consulting,” ITIDA's CEO Ahmed ElZaher commented.

“We aim to support the growth of these companies, increase their competitiveness, and enhance their capabilities for international market penetration,” he added.
