Cabinet ratifies funding mechanism for Nile Basin development projects

Arab Finance: The cabinet has approved a proposal to develop a mechanism to fund studies and implement developmental and infrastructure projects in the Nile Basin countries, as per a statement.

The move is part of Egypt’s plan to set a developmental strategy in Africa to keep up with accelerating variables taking place in the continent and globally, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly stated.

This comes in accordance with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directives to achieve development bas

This mechanism would contribute to driving bilateral ties between Egypt and the Nile Basin countries, Madbouly said in a press conference.
