Arab Finance: Fawry, Egypt's leading e-payments solutions provider, has introduced its new medical insurance product, "Sehetak Fawry," as part of its strategy to expand its financial services offerings, as per a disclosure.

Developed in partnership with GIG Insurance, the fully digital insurance product is accessible through the myFawry App and the myFawry Prepaid Card.

It provides individuals and families with health coverage options, including inpatient coverage of up to EGP 25,000, free telehealth consultations, and discounted services from a wide network of healthcare providers.

This new product is launched through Fawry Insurance Brokerage (FIB) after the company successfully issued over 700,000 digital insurance policies.

Fawry's collaboration with GIG Insurance ensures comprehensive coverage for surgical procedures at hospitals across Egypt, with discounts from medical providers like IDH labs, Nile Scans and Labs, DAWI Clinics, and others.

Customers can easily subscribe to the service via the myFawry app, choosing from individual or family plans.

The myFawry Prepaid Card acts as the user's identification for accessing benefits from participating healthcare providers.
