Arab Finance: Lecico Egypt reported a 149.71% year-on-year (YoY) increase in consolidated profit attributable to the parent company during the first nine months of 2024, according to the financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on November 13th.
Consolidated net profit after minority interest stood at EGP 880.907 million in the January-September period of 2024, compared to EGP 352.767 million in the year-ago period.
Net sales hit EGP 4.860 billion, up from EGP 3.619 billion.
Meanwhile, the company’s standalone net profit after tax reached EGP 608.198 million in the nine-month period ended September 30th, compared to EGP 199.004 million in the same period a year earlier.
Lecico is an Egypt-based public shareholding company engaged in the manufacture of tiles and sanitary ware products. The company offers its products through three segments: sanitary ware products, ceramic tiles, and brassware.
