NTRA grants initial approval for telecom price increases in Egypt

Arab Finance: The National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) has given initial approval to raise the prices of telecommunications services in Egypt, the authority’s Executive President Mohamed Shamroukh announced.

Speaking during the fifth-generation session at the Cairo ICT 2024 exhibition, Shamroukh confirmed that the decision allows the country’s four mobile operators to adjust the pricing of calls and internet services.

All details regarding the new bundles and pricing structures will be announced soon, he added.
