The Ministry of Finance is mulling over additional incentives and financial support for the first 50,000 taxpayers who join the simplified tax system.

Egyptian travelers have brought over 3.8 tons of gold into Egypt during eight months, Head of Egyptian Customs Authority ElShahat Ghatoury stated.

Egyptian customs points have witnessed the entry of more than 306 kilograms (kg) of gold brought by travelers from abroad during the period from May 11th to June 22nd.

This decision comes after Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly confirmed last week the availability of medicines and medical equipment as well as a secure reserve in the country.

The Egyptian government will announce the state’s tax policies document for the upcoming five or 10 years within three months, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly said.
