Egypt's cross-border digital exports reached $5.2 billion in 2025, with a target of reaching $6 billion in 2026, Minister of Communications and Information Technology Raafat Hindy stated.

Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Mohamed Farid launched the electronic portal and automated system for the services of the Environmental Validation & Verification Unit (EVVU) and Conformity Certification Unit at the General Organization for Export and Import Control (GOEIC)

Egypt's digital exports totaled $6.2 billion in 2023, up from $4.9 billion in 2022, with an annual growth rate of 26.5%.

Egypt’s signed agreements with 29 international firms will add $1 billion in export returns per year by 2025.
