Egypt signs Chevron deal to fast-track Cyprus Aphrodite gas to its infrastructure

The Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources inked an agreement with Chevron to accelerate the development and production of natural gas from the Cypriot Aphrodite field and link it to Egyptian infrastructure.

Cypriot natural gas from Cronos field set to link with Egypt by 2027

Cypriot natural gas from the Cronos field is expected to be connected to Egypt’s infrastructure and processing and liquefaction facilities by 2027, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badaw said.

Cyprus’ Aphrodite field to be connected to Egypt

Developers of the Aphrodite natural gas field, located in the Cypriot Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ), are planning to connect the field to an Egyptian liquified natural gas (LNG) production facility via a submarine pipeline.
