Egypt has been elected to a seat on the General Assembly of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Transport.

The Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority (SCA) Osama Rabie met with Thanawat Sirikul, the newly appointed Ambassador of Thailand to Cairo, to discuss joint cooperation in maritime services and logistics.
