The National Bank of Egypt (NBE) has raised its foreign currency credit card purchase limit for customers abroad, increasing the monthly cap from EGP 240,000 to EGP 300,000, depending on the card type.

Banque Misr now allows its customers to exchange up to $5,000 in foreign currency when traveling abroad, as per an announcement.

Al Baraka Bank Egypt has signed an agreement with Raya IT, a subsidiary of Raya Holding for Financial Investments, to provide the latter a general credit limit of up to EGP 550 million as well as a return.
