The European Commission has approved the disbursement of €1.5 billion, the second payment of the second tranche of its Macro-Financial Assistance (MFA) package to Egypt.

Egypt has received €1 billion in macro-financial assistance (MFA) from the European Union (EU), announced Minister of Planning and Economic Development and International Cooperation Rania Al-Mashat.
