Metito Utilities, BII launch AWID to boost Africa’s water security projects

Metito Utilities Limited, a global investor and operator of water and alternative energy assets, has partnered with the British International Investment (BII), the UK’s development finance institution, to launch a new investment platform to implement climate-smart water management and water security projects in Africa.

Japan, FAO supports Egypt’s water, food security with $3.8M grant

Witnessed by the International Cooperation Minister Rania Al-Mashat, the agreement was signed with the participation of Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Hani Sewilam, the UN Resident Coordinator in Egypt Elena Panova, the Ambassador of Japan to Cairo Oka Hiroshi, and the FAO’s representative in Egypt Nasr El-Din Haj El-Amin.
