Arab Finance: Egypt has received $8.8 billion in external financing for the private and public sectors so far in 2023, down by 35.7% from those obtained in 2022, Asharq Business reported, citing the Minister of International Cooperation Rania Al-Mashat.
The country’s current portfolio with the development partners amounts to $26 billion now over 200 projects, the minister highlighted.
It is worth mentioning that the development financing provided to Egypt in 2022 was worth $13.7 billion, marking a 37% increase from those secured a year earlier.
