EETC injects EGP 5.7B investments in Egypt in FY2022/23

Arab Finance: The Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC) has invested EGP 5.7 billion in Egypt in the fiscal year (FY) 2022/2023, according to a statement by the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy.

The total energy generated in FY 2022/2023 amounted to 208.54 million kilowatt hour (kWh), compared to 206.398 million kWh a year earlier, the statement read.

Meanwhile, the firm reported an energy loss of 3.41% in FY 2022/2023, down from 3.66% in the previous FY.
