Egypt’s UHIS’ revenue grows 63% YoY in FY2022/23

Arab Finance: Egypt’s Universal Healthcare Insurance System’s (UHIS) revenues saw a 63% year-on-year (YoY) increase during the elapsed fiscal year 2022/2023, according to a statement by the Ministry of Finance on December 30th.
It also witnessed a 67% YoY growth in investment returns and a 47% YoY climb in surplus.
The statement added that the UHIS’ investment portfolio amounted to more than EGP 71 billion during the July 2022-July 2023 period.
The total funds and assets of the UHIS hit EGP 91 billion.
