Arab Finance: Abou Ghaly Motors, the local agent for the Chinese brand Geely, launched the Geely Geometry C electric car, Egypt and Africa's first all-new electric vehicle (EV), according to a statement on February 10^th.

Mohamed Abou Ghaly, CEO of Abou Ghaly Motors, said that the Geely Geometry C EV will be delivered through Abou Ghaly’s freezone company in Alexandria during the near future at a price of $37,900 for the first category and for $39,000 for the second category.

Geometry C can cover up to 550 km on a full charge with some 201 horsepower. It also saves motorists some 80% in fuel and running costs when compared with traditional vehicles.

The Geometry C has a battery warranty of eight years and a warranty of five years or 150,000 kilometers.

“A Test Drive will be offered in Geely Auto Flagship at El Mosheer Axis on February 17th and 18^th,” Abou Ghaly Motors revealed in the statement.
