Arab Finance: Mastercard has signed a strategic partnership with Emirates NBD-Egypt to scale up the digital banking experience for customers, according to an emailed press release on January 30th.
Under the partnership, Mastercard will carry on backing the digital transformation landscape of Emirates NBD-Egypt within the framework of the best global practices.
The collaboration aims to elevate Mastercard’s expertise and innovation in providing the bank’s customers with secure and seamless digital transactions.
The deal also comes in line with the Central Bank of Egypt’s (CBE) Financial Inclusion Strategy, as it targets introducing innovative segments to the payment ecosystem to fulfill the demand of young individuals, travelers, and tech-savvy consumers.
