Siemens Healthineers showcases innovative solutions at Arab Health 2024

Arab Finance: Siemens Healthineers showcased a suite of its advanced innovations and solutions at the Arab Health 2024, according to an emailed press release.

The Arab Health 2024 took place from January 29th to February 1st at the Dubai World Trade Center.

During the global healthcare medical expo, Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar met with the President of Europe, Middle East, and Africa at Siemens Healthineers Bernd Ohnesorge.

The meeting was attended by Managing Director of Siemens Healthineers Middle East and Africa Vivek Kanade, Managing Director of Siemens Healthineers in Egypt Amro Kandil, and Head of Sales at Siemens Healthineers in Egypt Diaa El-Shinnawi.

They discussed reinforcing partnership by establishing regional referral centers for diagnostic and interventional radiology in Egypt.

The meeting also tackled a proposed memorandum of understanding (MoU) outlining the partnership between the ministry and Siemens Healthineers in education, covering clinical education, fellowships, and operational training.

"By pioneering medical innovative technologies and forming strategic partnerships, we remain committed to enhancing the healthcare landscape and patient care across the Middle East and Africa,” Kanade said.

For his part, Kandil commented: "The minister's visit and engagement build upon the collaboration and joint efforts between Siemens Healthineers and the ministry. It underscores a clear strategic vision between the two entities, aiming to contribute to enhancing the medical sector in Egypt."
