Arab Finance: The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) is aiming to venture into several projects in Egypt, from oil and natural gas exploration and production to new and renewable energy, the Emirati company’s Executive Director of Low Carbon Solutions and International Growth Directorate Musabbeh Al Kaabi stated.
The Egyptian market is stable and attractive for investments in various petroleum and energy activities, Al Kaabi noted.
This came during Al Kaabi’s meeting with Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla on the first day of the Egypt Energy Show (EGYPES 2024).
For his part, El-Molla welcomed the expansion of cooperation between Egypt's petroleum sector and ADNOC.
The meeting also tackled a review of the impending agreement between ADNOC and bp for oil and natural gas exploration and production in the Eastern Mediterranean region.
This agreement aligns with Egypt's vision to ramp up exploration activities in this promising area
