Arab Finance: Societe Arabe Internationale De Banque’s (SAIB) net profits after tax increased 51% year-on-year (YoY) in 2022, hitting $30.155 million from $19.933 million a year earlier, according to a the bank’s financial indicators announced on February 14th.
Interest revenue was down 5% YoY, reaching $379.725 million last year, compared to $398.582 million.
Deposits dropped 26% YoY to $2.945 billion in 2022 from $3.960 billion in 2021.
Loans hit $1.689 billion last year, compared to $2.166 billion a year earlier, representing a decline of 22% YoY.
