El-Sisi, Senegalese counterpart review preparations for annual African Summit

Arab Finance: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone call from his Senegalese counterpart Macky Sall on January 23rd, reviewing preparations for the upcoming annual African summit, which is scheduled to take place next February, according to a statement by the Egyptian presidency.

El-Sisi congratulated Sall on the successful presidency of the African Union in 2022, which witnessed numerous international and regional challenges that had their huge repercussions on all political, economic, and social levels in the African continent.

The call also dealt with the developments of some issues of common concern at the regional and international levels.
