Domty posts 266.87% YoY leap in 2022 consolidated profits

Arab Finance: Arabian Food Industries Company (Domty) (DOMT) reported a 266.87% year-on-year (YoY) jump in its consolidated net profits after tax and minority interest for the full year ended December 31st 2022, according to the company’s financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on March 5th.

The company’s consolidated net profit attributable to the parent company rose to EGP 265.701 million in 2022 from EGP 72.424 million in 2021.

Moreover, Domty recorded sales amounting to EGP 5.217 billion last year, rising from EGP 3.360 billion a year earlier.

Meanwhile, the company’s standalone net profit after tax soared to EGP 263.235 million in 2022 from EGP 57.238 million in 2021.

Meanwhile, Domty’s board of directors approved the payment of cash dividends worth EGP 0.50 per share to shareholders for last year's profits.

Domty is an Egypt-based company engaged in the production and sale of dairy products, including cheese products, such as Tetra Pak cheese, plastic tubes cheese, mozzarella cheese, and spread cheese, as well as milk products and juices.
