El-Sisi directs to localize complementary industries for renewable energy production

Arab Finance: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has directed to intensify efforts to localize complementary industries for the production of new and renewable energy, including green fuel, the Egyptian Presidency reported on January 16th.

El-Sisi’s directives came during a meeting with the Suez Canal Economic Zone's (SCZone) Chairman Waleid Gamal Eldein, where the president briefed on the latest developments of the waterway.

The Egyptian president also followed up on the latest updates regarding investment and strategic projects in the SCZone.

The president also highlighted the importance of scaling up investment efforts and activities of the SCZONE, by forming an effective investment entity for the zone in its affiliated projects.
