National Dialogue’ board of trustees nods to several economic recommendations

Arab Finance:  Egyptian National Dialogue’s board of trustees has approved several economic recommendations and proposals submitted by committees and subcommittees during discussions, as per a statement on August 18th.

The board has approved redeveloping and restructuring the existing industrial zones as well as updating the target activities and revising the export gap.

It has also ratified several recommendations in the sector of agriculture and food security concerning the country’s role in providing production and pricing requirements, along with supporting domestic credit and debts.

Additionally, the trustees endorsed various proposals in the tourism sector, including increasing the issuance rate of licenses, setting a tourism agenda and promoting it, and creating new tourism patterns.

Moreover, they accredited preparing simplified investment guidance manuals in different fields, increasing public and private free zones, and amending some articles in the Investment Law.
