Arab Finance: Egyptian exports of food industries rose by 10.5% year-on-year (YoY) during the first seven months of 2023, according to a statement issued by Ministry of Trade and Industry on September 11th.  

The exports recorded $2.635 billion during the January-July period, compared to $2.384 billion in the same period of 2022. 

The figures were revealed by Minister of Trade Ahmed Samir during a roundtable meeting with food industry companies. 

The meeting aimed at exchanging views between the ministry and representatives of the food industries sector to find out some solutions to overcome the sector’s challenges, which include the lack of production requirements.
