EGX likely to launch financial derivatives market in 2024

Arab Finance: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX), along with the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) and brokerage firms, is a step away from launching a financial derivatives market within 2024, EGX’s Chairman Ahmed El Sheikh said in an interview with Asharq Business.

El Sheikh noted that brokerage firms play a vital role in studying the market’s requirements and qualify the staff to introduce the new financial derivatives to the investors.

He added that new financial instruments that could be rolled out in the market would lure new investors.
