Saudi ACWA Power eyes expansion of water desalination projects in Egypt

Arab Finance: The Saudi Arabia-based ACWA Power is targeting to expand its water desalination projects in several countries, including Egypt, the firm’s CEO Marco Arcelli said in an interview with Asharq Business.

He noted that the company is closely monitoring Egypt’s seawater desalination project, which is set to be executed over the coming years.

It is worthy to note that the company is also seeking expansion in Morocco, Azerbaijan, China, Indonesia, and Gulf countries.
