Supply Ministry bans trading of unregistered precious metals

Arab Finance: Egyptian Minister of Supply and Internal Trade Ali Moselhy has issued a ministerial decree regulating the trading of precious metals and gemstones, as per a statement.

The decree stipulates that any individual shall not trade, export, or import precious minerals and gems unless they are registered at the Assay and Weights Administration within a six-month period.

Under the decree, the registered people are entitled to change their data within 30 days as of the registration date.
