From a Cairo-based advisory firm to a regional platform operating across more than 40 countries, M&P enters its second decade focused on global growth, strategic advisory, and strengthening the voice of the Middle East and Africa on the international stage.
Ten years ago, M&P was founded on a simple conviction: that sustainable growth depends on effective collaboration between governments, businesses, and institutions.
Today, as the Group marks its tenth anniversary, it has established itself as one of the Middle East and Africa’s most influential public policy, strategic communications, government relations, and risk advisory firms, serving clients in more than 40 countries and operating at the intersection of policy, investment, and strategic decision-making.
Founded in Cairo in 2015, M&P has evolved from a boutique consultancy into a regional advisory platform supporting multinational corporations, development institutions, investors, family businesses, and startups across more than 18 sectors. Its services span public policy, government relations, risk advisory, strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, crisis management, market access, and investment promotion.
The Group operates through six offices in Cairo, Riyadh, Dubai, Istanbul, Tunis, and Pretoria, supported by more than 80 professionals and a global network of over 350 consultants and specialized experts. Over the past decade, M&P’s work has extended across markets stretching from Morocco to Pakistan and from Pretoria to Riyadh, advising clients in some of the region’s most dynamic and strategically important economies.
M&P has supported strategic projects, investments, and transformation initiatives valued at billions of dollars, helping organizations navigate complex policy, regulatory, reputational, and geopolitical environments. Its client portfolio spans some of the world’s most prominent multinational corporations, sovereign entities, international organizations, investors, and leading regional enterprises across more than 18 industries.
The Group has also played a role in supporting major regional and international initiatives focused on climate action, healthcare transformation, investment promotion, technology, and sustainable development. Among these initiatives are COP27, the AI for Healthcare Conference and Exhibition in Africa, and a range of strategic platforms that have brought together governments, investors, development institutions, and private-sector leaders to address regional priorities and opportunities.
As geopolitical developments, technological transformation, and shifting economic priorities continue to reshape global markets, M&P is positioning itself for its next phase of growth. While deepening its presence across the Middle East and Africa, the Group plans to expand into key global capitals and international centers of influence, creating stronger bridges between regional stakeholders and global decision-makers.
This strategy reflects M&P’s ambition to play a greater role in advancing the international representation of Middle Eastern and African business interests, helping clients navigate global policy discussions, investment flows, geopolitical developments, and cross-border opportunities that increasingly shape the region’s future.
“When we started M&P, our belief was simple: progress happens when people come together around a common purpose,” said Moustafa Moharram, Founder and Chairman of M&P Group.
“Over the past decade, we have had the privilege of working with governments, business leaders, investors, and development institutions across three continents. Our role has always been to help align interests, build trust, and create the conditions that enable investment, growth, and lasting impact.”
“As we enter our second decade, our ambition is not only to deepen our presence across the Middle East and Africa, but also to strengthen our footprint in key global capitals, ensuring that the perspectives, priorities, and opportunities emerging from our region are represented in the international conversations shaping the future of business, policy, and investment.”
The Group’s 10th anniversary will be marked by a high-level gathering on June 3 at the Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo, organized in partnership with Mosaic Forum for Strategic Affairs. The event will bring together senior government officials, policymakers, diplomats, business leaders, investors, and representatives of international organizations from across the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America.
The gathering will provide a platform for discussions on investment, economic transformation, regional cooperation, technology, healthcare, and the future of public-private partnerships.
As it enters its second decade, M&P aims to further strengthen its position as a leading public policy and strategic advisory platform connecting the Middle East and Africa with the world’s major political, economic, and investment centers, helping clients navigate an increasingly interconnected global environment while advancing the region’s interests on the international stage.
