Arab Finance: ABB Egypt registered an annual turnover of approximately EGP 14 billion, supporting its commitment to driving growth in the Egyptian market, according to an emailed press release.

Having launched business in Egypt during 1926, ABB celebrated 100 years of success, as it has established itself as a strategic partner in supporting industrial development.

The company provided advanced solutions aimed at improving operational efficiency across private sector institutions and national projects. Its integrated operational infrastructure spans seven strategic locations nationwide.

ABB Egypt’s main industrial complex is located in the 10th of Ramadan City, covering an area of 100,000 square meters and housing 13 integrated production lines, alongside additional manufacturing facilities in the Suez and Nasr City Free Zones.

Ahmed Hammad, Chairman of ABB Egypt, stated: "Our continuous investments in the Egyptian market, which have reached approximately $300 million over the past ten years, embody our deep commitment to driving industrial development and resource efficiency of the private sector and major national projects.”

“We firmly believe in Egypt's potential to lead regional industrial transformation. Beyond providing solutions, we are actively consolidating Egypt's position as a global manufacturing and export hub, with our locally manufactured products now serving over 50 countries across Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa,” Hammad noted.

On his part, Dr. AbdAllah Kassem, Factories Manager at ABB Egypt, elaborated: “ABB Egypt continues to solidify its role in building a more efficient and sustainable future for the Egyptian economy by combining global expertise with local capabilities. The share of locally sourced components in the company’s products reaches up to 78% across its various production lines and operations.”

Addressing the company’s future vision, Kassem added that ABB Egypt will remain focused on innovation and sustainability, actively working toward transitioning its Egyptian operations to run on 70% solar energy by 2028.
