Arab Finance: Bank NXT has extended its partnership with fintech company Network International to upgrade its payments infrastructure and accelerate the digitalization of its payment services, as per an emailed press release.
Under the agreement, the bank will move its automated teller machine (ATM) and debit card portfolio to Network International’s end-to-end processing platform. The migration is intended to simplify operations, reinforce security controls, and improve the customer experience.
The move forms part of Bank NXT’s expansion strategy and comes as the Central Bank of Egypt drives efforts to advance digital banking and develop the country’s digital economy.
