Arab Finance: Beko Egypt recorded robust growth across manufacturing, retail expansion, and brand recognition during the first half (H1) of 2026, further strengthening its position as one of Egypt's leading home appliance manufacturers, according to a press release.
The company's Industrial Park in 10th of Ramadan City achieved a record monthly production of 32,655 units in April 2026, marking the highest output since the facility began operations. This reflects Egypt's growing strategic role within Beko's regional manufacturing network, which supplies markets across the MENA, Europe, and Africa.
Supported by investments exceeding $110 million, the industrial complex has an annual production capacity of more than 1 million home appliances. The facility manufactures products under Beko's diversified portfolio of global brands, including Beko, Whirlpool, Ariston, Indesit, and Hitachi.
On the commercial front, the group expanded its retail footprint to 25 Beko Brand shops nationwide in line with its strategy to boost consumer accessibility and improve the in-store customer experience nationwide.
The company also continued to strengthen the presence of its Ariston brand in the Egyptian market, broadening its portfolio of innovative and energy-efficient home appliances designed to meet evolving consumer demand.
As for the international recognition, Global Business Magazine honored Umit Gunel, General Manager of Beko Egypt and Regional Director of Beko North Africa, with the "Innovation & Sustainability Leadership Excellence Egypt 2026" award in recognition of his leadership in driving sustainable industrial growth and innovation.
