CBE auctions EGP 115B T-bills on July 30th

Arab Finance: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) is issuing treasury bills (T-bills) on Thursday, July 30, at a combined value of EGP 115 billion, according to official data.

The first tranche amounts to EGP 45 billion and will mature in 182 days on February 2, 2027.

Meanwhile, the second auction, valued at EGP 70 billion, holds a 364-day tenor until August 3, 2027.

Issued on behalf of the Ministry of Finance, the T-bills function as a critical tool for short-term local investment.
