Egypt extends Sunday remote work through August

Arab Finance: Egypt's Cabinet has approved the continuation of the remote work system every Sunday throughout August 2026, as per an announcement.

This marks the fifth consecutive month of applying the work-from-home policy.

It is worth noting that this work system was first introduced last April as part of a government energy-saving plan to optimize consumption amid a surge in global oil prices resulting from the Israel-Iran war.
