Arab Finance: A total of 5,022 foreign companies were established in Egypt during the first half (H1) of 2026, up 33.7% from 3,757 companies in the same period in 2025, according to the Cabinet statement.
Issued capital inflows to new foreign companies operating in Egypt increased 20.9% year-on-year (YoY) in H1 2026, totaling EGP 21.4 billion from EGP 17.7 billion.
These indicators prove the state’s successful implementation of its economic reform program aimed at simplifying procedures, improving the business climate, and facilitating investment.
In this regard, the World Bank lauded Egypt’s progress under an ambitious reform program aimed at stimulating private investment and creating job opportunities.
It is worth noting that Egypt witnessed the establishment of approximately 26,500 new companies in H1 2026, marking an annual growth of 20%.
