Arab Finance: EgyptAir, the national carrier and official airline of Egypt's national football team during its participation in the 2026 World Cup, operated a special flight on Wednesday, July 8th, to transport the Pharaohs' delegation from the US back to Egypt following the conclusion of their tournament campaign, as per a statement.
The special flight, MS3009/3010, departed from Cairo International Airport to Atlanta in the US aboard a Boeing B789 Dreamliner aircraft to bring the national team home.
The team's flight is scheduled to arrive at Cairo International Airport on Friday, July 9th, in the morning.
EgyptAir congratulated the national team delegation and Egyptian fans on what it described as a historic achievement, the first of its kind in Egyptian football history.
The airline also reaffirmed its continued support for Egypt's national teams and clubs and its commitment to providing logistical services and facilities during their participation in international tournaments and sporting events.
