Arab Finance: Consolidated net profits attributable to the parent of Elsewedy Electric grew by 14.11% year-on-year (YoY) to EGP 9.921 billion in the first half (H1) of 2026, versus EGP 8.694 billion, as per the financial results.
Revenues hit EGP 163.315 billion at the end of June 2026, up from EGP 123.800 billion.
Regarding the standalone business, the EGX-listed firm turned profitable at EGP 3.076 billion in H1 2026, up from EGP 2.173 billion a year earlier.
Non-consolidated revenues hiked to EGP 1.936 billion from EGP 499.425 million in H1 2025.
Established in 1964, Elsewedy operates in five key business sectors: wire, cable and accessories, electrical products, engineering and construction, digital solutions, and infrastructure investments.
