Arab Finance: Prices for basic food commodities and vegetables experienced mixed movements on Thursday, October 22, according to data from the Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC).
The price of packaged rice amounted to EGP 34.1 per kilogram, reflecting a decline of 3.3% daily.
A kilogram of packaged flour rose by 1.8% to EGP 27.5 per kilogram.
Packaged sugar was priced at EGP 34.5 per kilogram, an increase of 3.6% daily.
Meanwhile, the price of a kilogram of sunflower oil reached EGP 104.4, down 0.7% daily.
Regarding vegetables, the price of tomatoes climbed by 13.8% to EGP 21.5 per kilogram.
Onions were priced at EGP 18.7 per kilogram, an increase of 0.8% daily.
