Gold prices climb on September 16 as investors eye Fed rate

Arab Finance: Gold prices jumped during Wednesday’s session, September 16, as investors awaited the US Federal Reserve's upcoming decision on interest rates for further direction.

The international ounce amounted to $4,343.6 for buying and $4,343.3 for selling.

In Egypt, the 24-karat price recorded EGP 7,251 for purchase and EGP 7,146.98 for sale, according to Dahab Masr data at 3:21 PM.

Meanwhile, the 21-karat gold hit EGP 6,345.27 for buying and EGP 6,254.23 for selling.

The 18-karat reached EGP 5,438.89 for buying and EGP 5,360 for selling.
