Arab Finance: The Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) disclosed the prices of basic food commodities and vegetables on Wednesday, October 28.
The price of a kilogram of packaged rice reached approximately EGP 36.4, an increase of 3.7% daily, 5.2% monthly, and 5.4% annually.
Packaged flour amounted to EGP 27.2, reflecting a daily increase of 0.9%. On the other hand, the sugar's price dropped by 14.3% to EGP 29.1 per kilogram.
A kilogram of packaged pasta hit EGP 31.2, down 4.9% daily.
Sunflower oil climbed by 1.5% daily to EGP 105.4 per kilogram.
As for vegetables, the price of a kilogram of tomatoes fell by 8.2% to EGP 21.9 per kilogram. The price of a kilogram of onions hit EGP 19.4, with an increase of 1.8% day-on-day.
