Arab Finance: Korra Energi has delivered robust performance in the first half (H1) of 2026, posting EGP 3.243 billion in revenue and a gross profit of EGP 665 million, according to a press release.
Earnings from operating activities hit EGP 397 million during the six-month period, while net profits amounted to EGP 139 million.
The company secured contract awards for new projects until June 30, 2026, at an aggregated value of EGP 5 billion, up from EGP 1.1 billion in new contracts until June 30, 2025. Foreign-currency-denominated contracts represented 45% of total new project contracts.
It is worth mentioning that Korra Energi's current contract portfolio stands at EGP 15.7 billion.
In August, the company secured an integrated turnkey contract worth an initial €15.43 million to carry out integrated construction works for Yazaki Egypt Electrical Systems (Yazaki EDS Egypt).
In July, the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC) signed an agreement with Korra Energi and High Dam Electrical & Industrial Projects Co. (HIDELECO) for the third phase of the Orascom-Hawamdeya power line.
