Arab Finance: MNT-Halan secured credit facilities and loans granted to its subsidiaries at a combined value of EGP 31.69 billion by the end of the first half (H1) of 2026.

The fintech platform completed three securitization issuances worth a combined EGP 4 billion for its subsidiaries Halan Consumer Finance and Tasaheel for Finance.

Tasaheel accounted for two of the issuances, valued at EGP 1.2bn and EGP 2.28 billion. The third, worth EGP 528.5 million, was issued for Halan Consumer Finance. MNT-Halan said the transactions will diversify its funding sources and support the expansion of its financing activities in Egypt.

The company plans to list 320 million shares, equivalent to 20% of its total share capital of 1.6 billion shares, on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX). The offering price for the initial public offering (IPO) has been set at EGP 24.50 per share.

In September, the EGX Listing Committee approved the temporary listing of 1.6 billion shares in MNT-Halan, representing an issued capital of EGP 160 million. The company will be traded under the ticker (HALN.CA) once trading begins.
