MOPCO appoints Osama Youssef as CEO, Managing Director

Arab Finance: Misr Fertilizers Production Company (MOPCO) has appointed Osama Youssef as CEO and managing director, succeeding Ahmed Mahmoud ElSayed, as per a disclosure.

The company’s board of directors approved the appointment at its meeting on October 12, 2026, with Youssef assuming his duties effective the same day.

It is worth mentioning that MOPCO logged net profits after tax totaling EGP 5.279 billion in the first quarter (Q1) of 2026, an annual leap of 87.68% from EGP 2.813 billion.
