Arab Finance: Oil prices jumped on Tuesday, September 22, after four consecutive sessions of losses as investors awaited developments on potential US-Iran talks at the UN General Assembly this week.
Brent crude futures for November surged by 1.29% to $101.63 a barrel by 07:58 GMT, while October WTI futures went up by 0.96% to $96.70 a barrel.
Likewise, the more actively traded November WTI contract rose 0.87% to $93.17 a barrel.
On September 14, oil prices increased more than 3% as fresh strikes on Saudi Arabia’s energy infrastructure heightened concerns over global supply disruptions.
